For the Love of Budgets

You’re invited to: “For the Love of Budgets” –an event to support the People’s Budget Long Beach:

 

 

 

Since 2018 and through the pandemic, the People’s Budget Long Beach has organized communities historically neglected in the city budget to be part of and accounted for in the city’s annual budget.

 

This is how we’ve won public dollars for community priorities like the Language Access Policy, the Long Beach Justice Fund, the Children and Youth Fund, a Community Land Trust, and much more. 

 

To help us get ready for the FY24 budget cycle, we’re gathering our friends together to raise $5,000 to support our collective organizing work and give community and coalition members the resources needed to win our next campaign.
